Crisálida, 2019

A lo largo de nuestra vida se nos presentan momentos entre periodos. Fue en uno de esos momentos cuando surgió Crisálida.

Las imágenes aparecieron espontáneamente, tal y como están, incluido el nombre. Crisálida no fue buscada, sino encontrada.

Es un estado previo; las imágenes lucen desnudas, a medio construir, sin llegar a estar del todo desarrolladas, son en potencia. Pero eso es Crisálida, el momento previo a tomar una decisión, a generar un cambio, a embarcarse en un nuevo proyecto o experiencia; un momento latente, lleno de pulsiones e infinitas posibilidades que se ven condicionadas cuando una decisión o dirección es tomada.

EN // Throughout our lives, we face moments in between periods, one that has already finished and another that is about to start. I was in one of those moments when Crisálida appeared.

The images came to me spontaneously, even the name, they popped up in my mind the way they are here. Crisálida was not searched but found; it was somehow produced unconsciously. Further digging was not needed, but the idea behind is an ongoing project, in fact, it is never-endind. It may look unfinished, not-fully developed, naked, potentially everything and yet nothing; but that is exactly what it is about, the previous stage of making a decision and letting it grow.
